Week 9 - Finishing the Color Study

On Sunday and Monday, I was working on finishing on all the character poses and came up on five 1/2 different poses. I thought they would take two hours at least to create, but it takes five hours. Juster sketching, and retracing for more finer lines takes about an 1/2 hours (It you know what you'll doing 1 hour or 30 mins at least!), creating layers and making the lines connect for fill coloring / hard and light strokes 1 hour, filling in white and black and layer rearrangement 1 hour if not done right before hand. Highlights and shadows 2 hours (It you know what you are doing 1 hour at least).

I have most of the pencil work done, now all I have to do is finishing up the digital painting (Highlights & Shadows).

Week 8 - Rought Production

Just a working week, trying to get all the majors of the project completed. Most of the work is being completed at home (more hours and all nighters) as of drawing character illustrations and poses. I plan to get the illustration done by the end of the week, as I am working on the character illustrations at this point.

Production is going fine, but trying to speed up on things.

Week 7-2 Environment illustration

I was working on this since Tuesday, the environmental illustration would take most work so I am trying to get it done before the character poses. Just have to get the highlights in. As before I will create one illustration poses and four to five character illustrations (poses). I plan to just create the environment first and add the character later when I do the poses, if I done both at onces it would take to long and I got so much work from my other two classes.

The environment will be done by week end, but the character again after some changes will be the hardest or easiest depending on the method of how I am drawing them. Most of all the envirnoment will be done by Monday.

Week 7-1 Illustrations

I am having a hard time creating an environmental scene for then character. Other than being a lone traveler, and not being able to know any environments from the original game settings (Yea I know the style well enough) I just choose a setting that was in my head, using some of the concepts styles in the game. I should have something down by Thrusday and ready to add color.

There were a change of plans in the milestones, I will do one environmental scene and character scenes, as of creating character abilities and illustrating them as poses. Already thinking of the other poses. I am starting on one now, planning to create 3 by the end of the week.

Week 6 - Final Rough Done & More Character Studying on Poses

I couldn’t came to class on Tuesday as of transportation issues and a miss-carrage death in the family.

I have worked on the drawing over the break and worked out some design problems, as well got back the work I lost before the break. I remember that the silk rope have to be changed to a fur one for him to look more masculine. The shorts were redone to like more stylist and heavy and the boots are drew the same way, metal plating and a wide look.

I tried to find what kind of theme that Kingdom Hearts characters play of from other than the stylist clothing style that some later Final Fantasy characters wears. Especially the weapon designs on most characters and clothing. I am trying to adapte it into my character design; the main character is more of a Disney style with a Kingdom Hearts theme and the fire wolve is more of a realistic style as of Final Fantasy beasts or monsters. I should start drawing pose illustrations for the character after a little tuning up the final rought.
